Intramural - full-time studies; Extramural - part-time studies

One academic year at ESSUTM consists of three trimesters

Trimester 1, commencing in September, is 16 weeks long
Trimester 2, commencing in January, is 16 weeks long
Trimester 3, commencing in May (optional/fast track), is 8 weeks long (mainly intended for internships and research)
