Visa support

Foreign citizens wishing to study at ESSUTM send to the International relations office a questionnaire of the established form for an invitation to apply for a study visa. The application is sent no later than 2.5 months before the intended entry into the Russian Federation. A high-quality copy of the invitee's passport is attached to the application form (e-mail oms@esstu.ru). The passport must be valid for at least 18 months from the start date of the student visa.

Then the International Relations Department draws up an invitation (processing time 1 month) for a foreign citizen to enter the Russian Federation for the purpose of studying at ESSUTM and sends it at the request of the applicant by express mail. Shipping costs are borne by the foreign national.

After receiving an invitation, a foreign citizen must apply to the Embassy (Consulate) of Russia in the country of residence, where he is issued a study visa for a period of 3 months with an indication of the educational institution, which will then be extended in Russia by issuing a multiple-entry visa for the entire period of study.
