Branch of molecular spectroscopy

The equipment: IK-Fourier spectrometer Nicolet 380

IK-Fourier spectrometer Nicolet-380 (Thermo Electron Corporation, the USA), 2007 of release.

  • Spectral range of 3800-375 sm-1
  • Permission: an order of 1.0 sm-1
  • Parity a signal/noise: more than 20000:1
  • Linearity of ordinate: 0.07 % Т
  • Accuracy on wave number: 0.01 sm-1
  • The maximum speed of scanning: 40 skan/c
  • Presence of spectral libraries for identification of pure substances (more than 1500 connections)

Scopes: ecology, pharmacological analysis, criminalistics, research of polymers, the analysis of gases, the analysis of oil products and oils, the food-processing industry.

For the analysis it is necessary to conduct preliminary preparation of tests by one of the following methods: • Pressing of a tablet with an inert matrix (KBr) • Suspension method • Reception of pellicles (polymers, fats and oils, glues) • For the analysis of liquids it is provided a liquid ditch with length of a way 10 and 50 mm

The device is equipped by two prefixes:

Standard prefix for all Ik-spectrometers.

For the analysis it is necessary to conduct preliminary preparation of tests by one of the following methods:
• Pressing of a tablet with an inert matrix (KBr)
• Suspension method
• Reception of pellicles (polymers, fats and oils, glues)
• For the analysis of liquids it is provided a liquid ditch with length of a way 10 and 50 mm

Prefix of the repeated broken full reflexion.
Prefix for the analysis of liquid and firm samples.

The equipment: Spectrum and photometer Cary-300

Spectrum and photometer Cary 300 (UV-Vis-NIR), Varian (Australia), year of release – 2003.

  • Spectral range: 190-900 nanometers (УФ, visible and near Ik-area)
  • Dual-beam system (the sample and a comparison solution)
  • The maximum speed of scanning: 3000 nanometers/min.
  • The maximum measured optical density: 5
  • Programmed crack from 0.2 to 4 nanometers
  • Russified ON Cary WinUV
  • Suitable for the majority of practical and educational problems

Scopes: for quantitative definitions in visible and UV spectrum areas, quantitative definition of fibers, nucleonic acids and other biopolymers in UV area.

Personnel structure:

  • Engineer - Angapov Vasily Danilovich
  • Engineer - Bubeev Innokenty Trofimovich, D.Sc.
